According to the message on the phone system, the Vermont Law School will be closed on Monday. Apparently, their is a power outage, no internet, and significant flooding in South Royalton.
The rain in Montpelier has been steady all day, and downtown is in or approaching flood stage. See the excellent NOAA graphs at:

Interesting how “no internet” ranks right up there with “no power” and “significant flooding.”

Scott, my office (in Quincy MA) is closed today because without power and server and internet we have no documents, Can’t even access the webmail from my home to get email to try and scrabble for documents I’d mailed someone. Can’t even open documents I’ve sent or received via my smartphone without the server. The downside of the paperless office === I’m in the dark on a bright sunny day!

Jason,
The VLS website is down, the VLS call-in number at the law school is not working and the law school’s closing is not included on the TV school closing listings. Do you know someone in the administration’s home number that you can call and ask them to notify the media that VLS is closed. The students and staff are not going to know if school is cancelled. It would help if the school’s closing was included on the TV stations’ school closing listings that scroll below the news.

Professor. Having lived in Appalacia for 11 years, I can somewhat, but only somewhat image the flooding in your state. Your on-line class is thinking of VLS, its faculty and staff. We cna reconnect when things are better. J0E
